Biography

Alice Stamataki grew up in France and began her opera training in Poitiers and then in Bordeaux with Maryse Castets. She interpreted the role of “La baronne de Gondremark” (La vie Parisienne, J.Offenbach) in 2015, “La bergère “ and “L’écureuil” (L’enfant et les sortilèges, M.Ravel) and was soprano solo in the “Messiah” (G.F Händel) in collaboration with Marc Minkowski in 2017.

In 2019, she settles in Munich, Germany and continues her training with Stellario Fagone and Gudrun Ayasse. She takes part in Masterclasses with Jean-Noël Briend and Jolanta Stanelyte.

Since 2022, she takes part in several projects with the extra choir of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich (Die Teufel von Loudun, Lohengrin, Nabucco, War and Peace, etc.). In parallel she continues developing her solo repertoire as a lyric soprano (Fiordiligi, Micaëla, Rosalinde, Cleopatra, etc.) and regularly takes part in concerts as a soloist.

In May 2024, she sings in the “Eunuque” ensemble from Shostakovitch’s “Nose” at the Bavarian State Opera, conducted by Vladimir Jurowski.
